Norhaven will develop 600MW of solar power complete with long duration battery storage. This power will be developed in stages, initially feeding back to the Queensland grid but ultimately making the entire project self sustaining in terms of power. 

EV charging stations will be fully integrated into the entire porject 

Norhaven has already committed to developing projects that will provide long term employment. Working from home or neighbourhood precincts will be encouraged by the provision of community business support centres, next generation communication services and business incubators

While cane farming has lost its commercial appeal the need to retain agriculture remains a primary concern. Food and water security is as important as energy. Norhaven will deliver high intensity food production, independent of climate events, in the form of large scale hydroponic farming giving the local community ready access to low cost, high-quality produce.
