Funding for Norhaven has been  secured for the first stages. Land  acquisition  and applications for development  approvals are now underway,

Norhaven has committed to a detailed investigation into the potential development of a large scale waste to energy plant converting plastic, tyres and MSW to carbon free energy. Two competing technologies are seeking to partner with Norhaven in a facility that could grow to treat all of the waste generated in the region.

Wing in Ground Effect -Marine Craft , skim on a cushion of air above the water. This allows them to operate around a marine environment without creating a wake, or causing propeller injuries to marine wildlife. 

The next generation of WIG craft operate with electric motors and batteries. Norhaven is planning to manufacture WIG locally,  and subject to local approvals, operate a ferry service long the Queensland coast 

Norhaven has partnered with a Global Solar Specialist and work evaluating potential locations, grid connectivity and off-take agreements are well advanced.

Norhaven is working with a local developer of hydroponic systems and will build a new facility to deliver large scale intensive farming initially in Norhaven and eventually selling units throughout Australia and the world.

The residential areas of Norhaven will have provision of locations allowing for controlled landing of  delivery drones for on line shopping as well as  Taxi Drones which will operate in the future.
